Set the Table - Sunflowers

Set The Table - Sunflowers

This post might be more aptly named Sunflowers and Black-Eyed Susans.

I know it is late Summer when the yard fills up with these yellow beauties.

I love these plates with the big sunflowers from Pier 1 Imports.

The yellow plates, napkins and napkin rings are also from Pier 1 Imports.

The Yellow plates were used in a previous post HERE

Amber-coloured goblets, silver flatware in Evening Star pattern, as well as the tablecloths were thrift store finds.

Placemats are from the Great Canadian Superstore.

The gold-coloured tablecloth is linen and the round bottom tablecloth is beautifully lined and trimmed with braid.

Thank you for stopping by.

  1. Gorgeous setting, Barbara! Your plates are perfect. I like how you drooped the sunflower bloom over the plate on the stand in the center collection. Your natural setting is wonderful with the sunflowers and black-eyed susans. Yellow is such a happy color! :-)

    1. I am always pulling out the Black-eyed Susans as they have a tendency to take over the garden. I must admit, though, that they really brighten it up at this time of year. Have a great weekend, Ann.

    1. Thank you, Joanna. This garden is quite small. Right now it looks great with all the yellow flowers, but you might be disappointed at other times of the year.
