Easter Table
These little Bunny plates have been really popular this year.
The colour scheme for the table setting is Blue, White, and Green.
When I was young the saying was "blue and green are never seen".
In other words, someone decided that blue and green do not go together. How funny is that?
I have used silver flatware and Waterford Chrystal.
Each place setting has a green goblet planted with small blue and white pansies.
The napkins are doubled. They are a simple cotton green stripe and solid blue.
The napkin rings are green and white flowers, sort of like Queen Ann's Lace that we see here later in the summer.
The floral arrangement consists of Blue Pansies, White Muscari, White Ranunculus, Ivy, and Maiden Hair Fern.
I like the woodsy feel of the arrangement.
I managed to find the Bunny Salad Plates last year for Easter and we will enjoy them once again.

DeleteBarbara,
ReplyDeleteSomeone forgot to tell Mother Nature that blue and green do not mix. I love this time of year when the trees are fully leafed out, but still shiny and sparkly, set against a clear blue sky.
Last spring I bought two flower pots from HomeGoods that have the same bunny print, but in blue instead like your green ones. The pansies in a glass are perfect for your tablescape, and I pinned that photo to one of my Pinterest boards. I love the white muscari, also.

I think that in nature all colours go together. It is just people who want to make up rules about it. I also love this time of year. You are ahead of us, though. Our leaves are not out yet, but the grass is green today.
DeleteThank you for taking the time to stop by and for pinning my post.
