Amaryllis just speaks Christmas to me.
They are so neat because you buy the bulb, plant it, and in a few weeks it starts to flower.
They are great fun for kids to practice their gardening skills on too.
The inspiration for the table was a set of Amaryllis tidbit plates that I found months ago at the thrift store.
There is a lot of red and green on these little plates, so it just made sense to set them up in the breakfast nook for Christmas.
We started with a small linen tablecloth and then added all the other elements.
The little red tow-truck was also a thrift store find.
The small green lidded pot was from the thrift store too. It is by Bordallo Pinheiro and is new to my collection.
The napkins are Ralph Lauren.
Red-handled flatware stands ready in a white ironstone pitcher. We used this flatware HERE.
