Set the Table - Snowball Fight; My House

Come on in. It's cold outside.

I have been hoarding a bunch of snowballs.  They are all ready and waiting for you to join us.

We won't need coats, hats, scarves, or gloves.

We are inside for a snowball lunch and hot chocolate.

The inspiration came from these white pom-pom napkins.

They remind me of tiny snowballs.

The foundation for the table setting is a faux fur table runner.

The plate stack starts with a white charger, a white dinner plate and salad plate topped with a brown and white transferware plate.

The little brown cones come from the Casuarina tree.

Each place setting includes any number of handmade snowballs.

The snowballs were made by winding yarn around different sized foam balls and held together with a dab of hot glue here and there.

A closer look at the plate stack.

For the centrepiece, a silver bowl stands on a glass pedestal and holds a faux birch bark candle, a bit of greenery and yarn snowballs.
